Arizona Summer School for ADD/ADHD Teens

For 42 years we've been helping boys and girls with ADD/ADHD and other learning differences discover their true potential. Founded in 1972, Oak Creek Ranch School is a co-ed, college preparatory boarding school in Arizona that offers parents three options for summer school: 4-week, 6-week and 8-week Summer Boarding School programs for teens ages 12-18 (grades 7-12).

Located near Sedona, Arizona, on a 17-acre wooded campus fronting Oak Creek, our unique summer boarding program is designed to help unmotivated students and teens with ADD/ADHD develop new study habits, catch up on course work and earn credits in their core subjects. Students may earn one semester's credit in two subject areas during a four-week session. All levels of English, Spanish, Math, Social Studies and Sciences are typically offered.

Oak Creek Ranch School (OCRS) is fully accredited by the North Central Association; allowing students to transfer credits earned at OCRS to other schools around the country.

We are proud of our proven track record of success with ADD/ADHD and Unmotivated Teens. We keep our classes small (less than 10 students per faculty), provide individual attention and utilize our 42 years of experience working with ADD/ADHD students to create an environment that fosters success. We understand that your son or daughter may learn differently. Therefore we incorporate auditory, visual and kinesthetic learning methods into traditional and experiential learning methods and tailor a program of study to meet each student's needs.

Now Enrolling for Summer School

During the time spent in the classroom as well as on or off campus, our Summer School students learn the importance of being responsible members of the school community. We teach our teens how to implement the strategies they need to make thoughtful choices that have a positive impact on themselves, their peers and their families. Using positive reinforcement, students gain the self confidence they need to reach their academic goals and gain valuable leaderships skills.

In just four weeks of summer school at Oak Creek Ranch School, parents usually begin to see positive changes like these:

"Just wanted to let you know that our son had a very positive experience at OCRS this summer. He met new friends, stayed active, made three A's in some difficult subjects (which we always knew he was capable of doing), Overall he had a unique and great experience!" - Parent of OCRS Summer School Student
